Woman Charged With Attempted Murder

A man has been found shot in the chest following the arrest of a 72-year-old Susan Bohmer who has now been found to be his wife, police said on Sunday. She was charged with second-degree attempted murder.

Police were called just after 7 pm, to a ”domestic incident,” where they found the husband p, lying on the floor with a shot wound in rather chest. Medics arrive in scene and he was helicoptered to Albany Medical Centre Hospital(AMCH), and is currently in critical condition.

The shooting took place on Saturday in the town of Chester, Warren County. Susan F. Boomer was present at the scene of the crime and was later taken into custody by police.

Along with the attempted murder charge. Boomer has also been charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon. Her upcoming court date is set for the 4th May.
