Mother and Daughter Stabbed to Death in Florida

19-year-old man Sage Curry has been charged with two counts of murder after police found a mother and her daughter brutally stabbed to death in their own home on Saturday night.

Shortly before 2:00am on Monday, Sage Curry allegedly broke in to a Logan, Florida home through an open window and proceeded to obtain a butchers knife, according to an arrest affidavit.

The teen allegedly confessed to the crime with “the sharpest kinked in the kitchen,” the police report sates. One of the two victims was discovered on the floor with multiple stap wounds to the chest, the police report says. He reportedly had no relationship with the two women.

Allegedly the assailant told Logan Police Detectives that he staged the scene to be an accident by “rolling her off the couch to make the incident look like an accident before he left the residence,” the affidavit states. It was unclear whether curry ha obtained an attorney.

The second victim attempted to defend the first but in the process was stabbed multiple times in the face and the neck, according To the Tampa Bay Times Newspaper. Curry was injured in the prices and proceeded to ask a neighbor to call 911.

The man was charged with two counts of murder and one count of armed burglary, according to the arrest documents and inline jail records. A statement released by the Logan Police Department, says that it is “believed to be a random act.”

The identities of the two women are still unknown due to the victims families invoking Marsky’s Law.
